Returns Policy

It is important to Spine and Page that our customers are satisfied with their shopping experience with us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will endeavour to satisfy you in terms of this Returns Policy.

All sales are on a firm sale basis and therefore we do not accept cancelations after the order has been processed.

We work on an order to order basis with the publishers and therefore all orders received are on a firm sale basis and cannot be returned/cancelled.The only exception to this is If the product is faulty in terms or printing / binding or misprints due to a publishing error.

NOTE: We do not accept returns or cancelations for wrongly ordered books.

Pre orders are not able to be cancelled once processed.

 

Early Cancellations: 

Ordered the wrong Books?
You are entitled to cancel (either in whole or in part) any purchase beforethe order is processed. All orders are on a firm sale basis and we do not accept cancellations once the order has been processed online. Call us to get ETA information before ordering.

I don’t want to exchange, I want a refund.
Should you be entitled to a refund for any reason, such refund shall be paid into your bank account, being your bank account as reflected on Spine and Pages’ records, or such personal account that you have provided us with prove of.

Spine and Page will not, in this instance, pay any refunds into a third party bank account. As refunds need to be processed by the banks, please note that the processing of refunds can take up to 7 working days from the date of approval.

Defective/Damaged Products

If you find that a product that was delivered to you is:

  • defective or faulty within 3 days of receiving it; or
  • damaged, excluding damage only to the packaging (You should refuse to accept delivery of any product which is visibly damaged), you must inform us within 2 days after you have received delivery of such product of the extent of the damage, defect or fault that existed at delivery, or within 5 days of a product becoming defective or faulty, and of your intention to return the product to be replaced or refunded. Notice must be by means of an e-mail.
  • You must return the product at your own cost for the product to be inspected by Spine and Page and the manufacturer, and if the product is subsequently found, in Spine and Pages or the manufacturer’s sole discretion -
  • to be damaged, defective or faulty not due to you, you will be entitled to (a) have the product repaired or replaced.
  • NOT to be damaged, defective or faulty, or to be damaged, defective or faulty due to normal wear and tear, misuse or abuse, or due to you, or someone unauthorised to do so by Spine and Page, having altered or damaged the product, you will be liable for the costs incurred in having such product re-delivered to you and you will not be refunded.

Pre-orders:

Pre orders are on a firm sale basis and cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. Pre orders can take up to a month to arrive as they are imported via sea freight. Delays are possible due to weather at sea/ delays at shiopping docs and courier delays.
